The Things which worked well with the management of emergency are:

1.A trained first aider was present at the site who dealt with the injured worker at primary level. Also a tyre fitter was present at the work site who immediately closed the machines. So, the medical emergency response time was quick.

2.The workers were trained with the reporting procedure and about the  communication od emergency situation verbally and by telephonic means. In this way the other members of organization were informed about the accident.

3.The manager completed  legal requirements by reporting the incident to the law enforcement agencies.

5.The manager removed the customer out of incident location to secure the evidence from tampering which indicates compliance with emergency preparedness.

6.The injured worker was rescued with sufficient arrangements to the nearest hospital.

 

   

 Following arrangements would enable another worker to manage similar emergency:

 

• A team of doctor, nurses and trained first aiders must be present to handle the emergency situation.
• There must be an emergency contact number list present at different locations of the organization.
• There must be a first aid box and medical tool kit present in every section of the organization.
• Every worker must be able to handle the emergency situation in order to avoid legal actions against the organization.
• The training of worker should be done on how to deal with an injured person in case of accident and different activities must be conducted to check the response time and ability of the workers.
• For proper communication walkie-talkies must be provided to the workers.
• Every worker must be able to inform the authorities, kin of injured worker and to the hospital in case of accident.
